Make sense of yourself
Make sense of your life
A warm, compassionate and honest space for you to move towards understanding, clarity and self acceptance.
Life can be challenging, and sometimes having a place to share and reflect can be incredibly healing.
Maybe it’s a recent event, maybe it’s an old event or feeling that’s got stuck.
Whatever it is you’re grappling with, we will explore it together and look at how you can best work with it in order to move forwards with a sense of relief.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come to therapy.
Perhaps you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure about what comes next.
Maybe you’re struggling with your confidence, relationships or boundaries. Perhaps you’re constantly doubting yourself, finding it difficult to make decisions, or simply feeling that something needs to change but you’re not sure where to start.
Or maybe you know exactly what is bothering you, but you’ve been carrying it around for long enough and you’re ready to talk to someone.
Whatever has brought you here, you don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what you need right now.
You can just come as you are now, and we will work it out together.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially when you’re talking about things you might not usually share with anyone.
I completely understand that.
I will be your ally, I will be on your side and by your side throughout the process.
Working so closely with clients over the last 25 years through my fitness, yoga and well-being business has taught me a lot about the human experience - about our struggles, our victories, our insecurities and what makes us feel good. The way we talk to ourselves is key, and a central part of my work is to cultivate self compassion.
Mindful, reflective and supportive counselling

I’m Jane, a BACP qualified, neurodivergence aware and informed humanistic integrative counsellor, and I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of good therapy.
My approach is warm, honest, open and down to earth, with some lightness and humour in the mix at the right time - laughter and tears are welcome in equal measure.
I won’t sit back and leave you to do all the work. We’ll work together, and where it feels appropriate, I’ll offer thoughtful and compassionate reflections to help you see things from a different perspective.
I am a mother of two sons, a dog lover, and I’m passionate about the human capacity to heal and move forwards.
What brings people to therapy
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, and there doesn't need to be one single thing that has happened.
I work with adults who may be experiencing:
Self-esteem and confidence
Perhaps you’re constantly questioning yourself, comparing yourself to others or struggling to recognise your own strengths.
Boundaries and people-pleasing
You might find it difficult to say no, worry about disappointing people, or regularly put everyone else's needs before your own.
Anxiety, overthinking and self-doubt
Maybe your mind rarely switches off. You replay conversations, worry about the future or find yourself stuck in cycles of rumination and indecision.
Neurodivergence emotional difficulties
Maybe you have a diagnosis of neurodiversity and you are seeking to find the best way to manage. Maybe you suspect neurodivergence and would like to explore this further.
Relationship Difficulties
Maybe you keep picking the wrong type of person. Maybe you cling to people or run away when things get serious. Maybe you find yourself feeling jealous or insecure. Maybe you end up in conflict all the time.
How Sessions Work
I currently offer one-to-one weekly counselling sessions for adults aged 18+.
You will be given a time slot which will be same day and time each week (I normally recommend a minimum of once a week, which enables us to build a strong working relationship).
Some clients get what they need in weeks, sometimes it requires months, and sometimes longer.
Sessions are initially offered online, with face-to-face in North London available too.
Sessions are £70, for 50 minutes.
Some concessions rates are available, please enquire if finances are a restriction for you, or I can signpost you to low cost counselling.
